3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Marco Gonzales earned his eighth win of the season Friday, throwing six innings and giving up no earned runs to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Three D-Backs did cross the plate on four hits and a walk, but all were unearned. Gonzales struck out three batters. Over his last seven starts, Gonzales has gone 5-0 with a 2.20 ERA and 0.91 WHIP. He won't offer big strikeout numbers, but Gonzales is a sneaky add if he's somehow still available on the waiver wire. His 4.03 ERA does not accurately reflect his value.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
