5 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Marco Gonzales got the victory in a superb effort against the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday. He gave up two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five through 6.2 IP earning his third win in a row. Gonzales is now 8-6 on the campaign sporting a 4.38 ERA and 1.37 WHIP with 67 punchouts in 96.2 IP. Nothing really stands out for the southpaw in any roto category other than his productive win total, but he is capable of showing some flashes of excellence. His next start will be much more difficult on the road against the Brewers in a rare interleague matchup.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
