3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Marco Gonzales had a tough outing in his return from the paternity list Saturday, allowing seven runs (six earned) on seven hits and two walks in 3 1/3 innings. He struck out four batters and three of the seven hits went for home runs. His record dropped to 1-5. Time seems to be running out for Gonzales to get his season back on track, with a 5.82 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, and 46 strikeouts in 51 innings. Even at his best, Gonzales only offers solid ratios, and it would be more than fair to seek other options.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
