Marco Gonzales Makes One Mistake In Sunday's Loss
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Marco Gonzales pitched well on Sunday but allowed a three-run home run to the Angels' Justin Upton in the Mariners 4-3 loss. Gonzales lasted only five innings, allowing those three runs and striking out six. The left-hander returned to the rotation on September 11 after being activated from the disabled list and pitched five innings of one-run baseball. The season, overall, has been a success for Gonzales and will head into his final starts with a 12-9 record and a 4.28 ERA.
