6 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Marco Gonzales pitched his third excellent start in a row Monday, tossing 6 2/3 scoreless innings as the Mariners beat the Rangers 2-1. Gonzales has not allowed a run in his past three outings, spanning 19 1/3 innings pitched. Gonzales struck out four, walked four and allowed only four hits to drop his ERA to a solid 3.60. The Mariners continue to find ways to win games and the starting pitching has begun to pick up some of the slack. Gonzales can be a short-term option heading into his next start in hopes that his hot streak can continue.--Joey C - RotoBaller
