7 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Marco Gonzales pitched six innings of two-run baseball to pick up the win in the Mariners 10-4 triumph over the Indians Sunday. That's two strong starts in a row for Gonzales (3-2) as the Mariners have been rolling lately. He now has allowed only 2 runs over his last 12 innings with 12 strikeouts in that span. Gonzales is not quite a candidate to be added in fantasy quite yet but should have more chances to win some games pitching behind an improved offense. Gonzales has, for now, cemented his status in the starting rotation and will look to keep it rolling in his next start.--Joey C - RotoBaller
