5 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Marco Gonzales struck out nine in the team's 5-3 loss to the Rays on Friday. The lefty tossed 6.1 innings giving up two runs on seven while walking a pair, earning a no-decision. The high strikeout total matched his season-high, but his 110 K's in 146.0 IP (17.5% K%) isn't giving him enough fantasy value. Gonzales is capable of showing ace-like stuff, but his consistency remains a question mark making him a streaming option at best.
