6 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Marco Gonzales had an impressive outing Thursday in the team's home opener against the Boston Red Sox. He gave up a run in each of the first two innings but settled in after getting some run support. He got the win tossing 5 1/3 innings with four strikeouts and a walk with three earned runs allowed. Gonzales is now 2-0 on the season and is proving to be a decent back end fantasy starter so far in the early going. The southpaw's next start will take place next week against the Angels and is worth a look at as a streamer if he's on your waiver wire.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
