2 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Marco Gonzales couldn't keep the ball in the yard against the Houston Astros on Friday when he allowed three home runs in five innings of work. In total, he gave up five runs on nine hits and one walk, while striking out one in the eventual 5-2 loss. Gonzales has been solid again in terms of run prevention, posting a 3.74 ERA over 19 starts. However, the left-hander has just 55 punchouts across 106 innings, along with a 1.39 WHIP and 5-10 record. Fantasy managers can find better options in most leagues, even if they give up a little bit of ERA.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
