3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Marco Gonzales won't start Sunday after being placed on the paternity list. Right-hander Yohan Ramirez was recalled from the minors. Gonzales has to be kept out of action for at least three days, but he should return next week for one start against either Toronto or Texas. The team didn't say who will take his spot in Sunday's seven-inning contest following the suspended game from Saturday. Gonzales is coming off his best start of the year last week against Tampa, and he's still a decent back-end rotation piece for fantasy gamers as an innings-eater on a surprisingly competitive team.--Josh Friedman
