Marco Luciano Remains A Name To File Away
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants shortstop prospect Marco Luciano remains a player for managers in dynasty leagues to keep an eye on this season. Opening the season in High-A, Luciano has come out of the gate with a .333 batting average to go along with one home run and a pair of RBI through his first three games. The talented shortstop is just 20 years of age, but this will be his third season in the Giants farm system and there is a strong chance that he can rise through the minors quickly. This past season between Single A and High A, Luciano hit a combined .258 with 19 home runs, 71 RBI and six stolen bases. His biggest issue was that he struck out 122 times in 395 at-bats. With the ability hit the ball hard with a quick swing, Luciano just has to work more on his plate discipline, but as long as he can, Luciano has the makings of a future star in the big leagues.
