3 years agoNew Orleans Saints defensive end Marcus Davenport (pectoral) suffered a pectoral strain in Week 1 versus the Green Bay Packers. Davenport is awaiting the results of a MRI that he did on Tuesday, but is expected to miss at least a few weeks. It's a tough blow for the Saints defense with news of cornerback Marcus Lattimore being listed as questionable with a thumb injury and questionable for Week 2 versus the Carolina Panthers. The Saints dominated a tough Packers offense in Week 1, but the loss of Davenport and potential loss of Lattimore make them not as scary heading into Week 2.
