Marcus Peters Expects To Be Back This Summer
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters (knee) said that he expects to be back from his torn ACL by June or July, which means he could be a full-go for the beginning of training camp. Peters blew his knee out in practice just days before the season-opener in 2021 and missed the entire season. Despite the injury, the Ravens could decide to give him an extension as he heads into the final year of his $42 million extension. When healthy, the 29-year-old is one of the better cover corners in the league, already being named to three Pro Bowls and two first-team All-Pro squads in six seasons. The Ravens defense allowed the most passing yards per game (278.9), so getting Peters back healthy in 2022 will go a long way in shoring up their secondary.
