3 years agoToronto Blue Jays second baseman Marcus Semien picked up a pair of singles as his club fell to the Red Sox 6-5 on Friday night. He also chipped in with a walk and a run scored, finishing the day going 2-for-4. Semien's .293 BA and .361 OBP has made him a terrific table-setter for the big bats that follow him in the Jays order this season as he currently sits in the top-10 with 41 runs. His only knock against him is that he's only stolen two bases since April 28 after swiping six bags through his first 23 games. Still, managers should be ecstatic about his fantasy output this season, but it will be interesting to see how the lineup shakes out when George Springer returns to the lineup later this month.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
