Marcus Semien Goes 3-For-4
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays second baseman Marcus Semien had a nice day at the plate during Tuesday's first game of a doubleheader, going 3-for-4 in the team's 6-3 loss to the Angels. The 30-year-old swatted a pair of doubles and stole a base while scoring a run and an RBI as he now has a hit in 15 of his last 17 games since getting moved down into the three-hole. Semien has rewarded fantasy managers this season with solid production in all five categories with 26 HR, 83 runs, 63 RBI, 12 SB, and a .279 BA in 111 games. He's swung a consistent bat all season, so there's no reason to believe he won't continue to produce stellar numbers the rest of the way in his contract season.
