3 years agoToronto Blue Jays second baseman Marcus Semien launched a pair of home runs on Monday to help his club defeat the Yankees 8-0 in the series opener. He took Jameson Taillon deep for a solo shot in the first and book-ended his game with a grand slam in the ninth to put the game out of reach, finishing the game going 2-for-5. Semien continues to shine in 2021 with 37 HR, 97 runs, 87 RBI, 14 SB, and a .267 BA in 136 games in what could lead to a big pay day for him this offseason in his contract year.
