5 years agoOakland Athletics shortstop Marcus Semien is dealing with an oblique injury that the team doesn’t believe will require a stint on the injured list. Oakland’s contest Sunday against the Astros was postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test, but it appears that Semien wouldn’t have been available regardless. With a possible layoff coming for the team over the next handful of days, Semien may be able to heal with his team on hiatus. Check back for an update on whether he’ll be in the lineup the next time that Oakland takes the field.--Jesse Borek
