4 years agoToronto Blue Jays middle infielder Marcus Semien cranked his sixth homer of the season in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Braves. He took reliever Sean Newcomb deep in the eighth and also added a two-run double in the contest, upping his RBI count to 14 on the season. Semien is slashing just .228/.301/.416 through 26 games, but his counting stats continue to add up especially when you factor in his six thefts. All signs are pointing to the 30-year-old continuing to put up a stellar fantasy season batting in the middle of the Jays lineup.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
