5 years agoOakland Athletics shortstop Marcus Semien went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and a run scored in Wednesday's 8-3 victory against the Baltimore Orioles, pushing his hitting streak to a career-high 16 games. He is hitting .388 (26-for-67) with 15 runs scored, three homers and 12 RBI across the impressive streak, running his average from .253 to .280 just since June 2. He'll look to extend his streak to 17 games as the A's kick off a new series on Thursday against Tampa Bay Rays RHP Charlie Morton.--Daniel Dobish
