7 years agoAfter five subpar outings to start the season, Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman finally put a good one together against the Minnesota Twins his last time out by allowing two earned runs over seven innings pitched. He was not able to keep moving forward on Wednesday against the Seattle Mariners, unfortunately. Stroman allowed five earned runs on nine hits across five innings pitched, striking out two while walking two. After this one, it’s clear Stroman was a benefactor of a weak Twins offense last week rather than a breakthrough. You may want to consider dropping him in most 12-team leagues. You certainly don’t want to start him for his next outing on Sunday against the Boston Red Sox.--John Smith
