7 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman (finger) dealt with a blister issue again during his start on Monday against the Rays. Manager John Gibbons said, "It's clearly affecting him." Gibbons has recommended a cautious approach, but Stroman wants to keep pitching. The right-hander allowed four earned runs on six hits while walking none and striking out just one in 1 2/3 innings in a loss on Monday. Stroman is only striking out 6.77 hitters per nine innings and just hasn't been very good this year. Even if he does make his next start, Stroman is one to avoid for fantasy purposes.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
