5 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman allowed one run on five hits across seven innings of work during a 4-0 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday. He struck out six batters while walking one. The 28-year-old has been fantastic this season, and his 6-11 record fails to showcase how great he has been. Stroman owns a 2.96 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 99/35 K/BB rate through 21 starts in 2019. Likewise, he has only surrendered more than three earned runs in a start on three separate occasions. Even with trade rumors swirling wildly around Stroman, he continues to excel. He is worthy of ownership in all formats, and a trade to a contender will only increase his value.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
