Marcus Stroman Falls Victim To The Long Ball
4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman allowed three home runs, amounting to five earned runs, in six innings pitched on Sunday in the Mets' 7-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. Coming into Sunday's contest, Stroman had allowed only three home runs all season. It was a rough start for Stroman who only recorded one strikeout while allowing six hits and one walk. Stroman's record fell to 3-4, while his ERA jumped from 2.01 to 2.72 on the season. Despite the poor outing, Stroman is proving to be a valuable member of the Mets' rotation and fantasy rotations. He should remain active in all formats for his next scheduled start against the Marlins on Saturday in Miami.
