6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman (shoulder) started a throwing program on Monday and felt no ill effects afterward. Stroman is still a ways away from returning, but this is a great step in the right direction for him as he rehabs at Toronto’s spring training complex in Dunedin, Florida. Stroman has been on the disabled list with shoulder inflammation, which plagued him during spring training as well. Stroman has not had a good 2018 to date, as he’s put up a bad 7.17 ERA and 1.71 WHIP across seven starts. Assuming he comes back healthy, it’s a good bet he drastically improves upon those numbers, but he isn't a must-hold in shallow leagues.--John Smith
