6 years agoSince returning from the disabled list, Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman found success in two stellar outings against the Los Angeles Angels and Detroit Tigers. In perhaps the juiciest matchup of the three against the lowly New York Mets, however, Stroman was unfortunately lit up. In a 6-3 loss to the Amazins on Wednesday, Stroman allowed six earned runs on six hits and four walks across 4 2/3 innings pitched while striking out only two. Stroman has his most difficult test since returning on Wednesday in Atlanta against the Braves, and we wouldn’t recommend starting him in that one after he couldn’t find any success against possibly MLB’s worst offense.--John Smith
