Marcus Stroman Picks Up Win With Six Scoreless Innings
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman pitched a gem in the first game of a doubleheader Thursday, throwing six scoreless innings with three hits, two walks, and three strikeouts. Stroman had a reasonable case to finish this one himself, but he was removed for closer Edwin Diaz. Stroman now has a 2.45 ERA and 1.05 WHIP for the year and has thrown at least six innings in seven of his ten starts. He's an extremely reliable fantasy option, especially in leagues that reward quality starts.
