2 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Marcus Stroman managed not to allow a run to the San Francisco Giants Friday despite scattering eight hits and a walk across his six innings of work. He struck out three batters and was credited with the win in a 4-2 contest, improving his season record to 3-5. Stroman now has a 3.99 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with 62 strikeouts in 67 2/3 innings across 13 starts this year. He is not a very high-upside fantasy option, but Stroman has a long track record of run prevention.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
