6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman (blister) is heading back to the disabled list for the second time this season. Stroman had been bothered by the blister for a while, and it became quite bad on Friday against the Yankees. This season is a foregone conclusion at this point for the Jays, so there is no need to rush Stroman back. Thomas Pannone was called up and will be starting on Wednesday against the Orioles. Pannone has a 5.36 ERA across 50 1/3 innings pitched in three different levels of minor league ball this season.
