2 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Marcus Stroman was placed on the 15-day injured list on Friday with right shoulder inflammation. Stroman last pitched on June 3 against St. Louis, a game where he got roughed up to the tune of nine runs in four innings. It is possible that he wasn't feeling right in that game, or that the shoulder started to flare up during the game. Either way, Stroman will miss at least one more start before he is eligible to be reinstated, and with this type of injury, it wouldn't be surprising to see him miss more time than that.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
