Marcus Stroman Reaches Double-Digit Wins
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman finally hit double-digits in the win column Tuesday, earning his 10th victory of the season against the Miami Marlins in the first half of a doubleheader sweep. Stroman allowed two runs on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings. He also added a stolen base, the first of his career. Stroman has been very consistent, only allowing more than three earned runs four times in 33 starts this season. His 3.02 ERA and 1.15 WHIP have made him a valuable fantasy asset. It's possible he'll make one more start this year.
