4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman (calf) is scheduled to throw a simulated on Thursday. Stroman was placed on the injured list just before Opening Day with a small tear in his left calf. Stroman has been trending towards returning and Thursday’s performance will be a big testament as to weather or not he will return sooner or need more time on the injured list. Stroman provides solid pitching numbers across the board, but doesn’t put up the strikeout numbers many owners look for.
