Marcus Stroman Starting Saturday Against The Dodgers
2 years agoChicago Cubs pitcher Marcus Stroman (shoulder) will start Saturday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He has been sidelined since June 3 with right shoulder inflammation. Stroman allowed seven hits, one walk, and five earned runs while striking out two in his last rehab start with Triple-A on Sunday. The 31-year-old has struggled this season, posting a 5.32 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and a 45:12 K: BB across 47 1/3 innings. After spending a month on the injured list, he will draw the start against a potent Dodgers lineup. Fantasy managers might want to wait after Saturday's start before using him as a streamer in most league formats.
