Marcus Stroman Struggles In Loss On Saturday
4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman lasted only four innings on Saturday in the Mets' lopsided 7-1 loss to the Nationals. Coming into the contest with just a 0.90 ERA on the young season, Stroman never really had his best stuff working for him. He did battle despite laboring and defensive miscues behind him. Stroman allowed four earned runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out four, as his record fell to 3-1 on the season. Stroman, who still owns an impressive 2.25 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP, will try to get back on track for his next scheduled start on Saturday in Philadelphia. Despite Saturday's struggles, fantasy managers should keep Stroman active in all formats.
