3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman allowed one hit and one walk while striking out seven across eight scoreless innings on Wednesday, as he earned the win in a 7-0 victory against the Reds. It was his best start in the month of July, as he is now 7-8 with a 2.59 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 93 strikeouts in 111 1/3 innings of work. He'll look to build off this outing his next time out, when he gets a rematch against the Braves after an injury-shortened start the last time he faced them.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
