Marcus Stroman To Have MRI On Wednesday
4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman (hip) will have an MRI on his left hip area on Wednesday. He exited his start on Tuesday night against the Braves after one inning of work due to left hip soreness. The Mets are optimistic that Stroman is ok. Hopefully, that is the case and he does not miss any time. Stroman is the fourth pitcher on the Mets roster to be injured this week. Robert Gsellman (lat) landed on the injured list with a torn lat, Joey Lucchesi (elbow) will undergo Tommy John surgery and is lost for the season, and Jeurys Familia (hip) landed on the IL with a right hip impingement. Fantasy managers should consider Stroman day-to-day for now, pending the MRI results.
