7 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman got off to a rough start this spring, missing a chunk of time due to shoulder inflammation. On Wednesday, he’ll be making his Grapefruit League debut with a little over a week to go before Opening Day. As of now, Toronto has Stroman lined up to start the third game of the season despite the late debut. According to Blue Jays’ manager John Gibbons, “If he comes out (of this game) feeling good, I don’t see why not.” The fact the team isn’t exactly playing it cautious with Stroman anymore should be all we need to comfortably say he’s nearly ready to go.--John Smith
