Marcus Stroman Posts A Quality Start On Tuesday
4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman went 6 1/3 very effective innings pitched in the Mets' 3-2 win over the Orioles on Tuesday. Stroman allowed just four hits, two walks, and one earned run while striking out five. Despite the quality start, he, unfortunately, did not factor into the decision. Stroman (3-3) now owns an impressive 2.01 ERA, a 1.02 WHIP, and a 34:9 K:BB over 40 1/3 IP on the season in seven starts. So far in 2021, he is far exceeding his pre-season ADP and proving to be a valuable member of fantasy rotations, not to mention the Mets' rotation. Fantasy managers should keep Stroman locked into lineups for his next scheduled start on Tuesday in Atlanta.
