4 years agoComing off of a tough split-decision loss in her last outing, Marina Rodriguez (13-1-2) earned a huge TKO victory over one of the division's hottest prospects in Amanda Ribas on Saturday. Rodriguez spent the majority of the first round under the control of Ribas, but turned it around in the second round, dropping Ribas with a huge strike. With the win, Rodriguez moves to 3-1-2 in the UFC. Statistically, it wasn't a big night for Rodriguez, as she only collected 15 significant strikes in almost 10 minutes of action. Showing she can defeat one of the brightest upcoming stars in the division is huge for her own status.
