7 years agoThe Seattle Mariners are acquiring outfielder Cameron Maybin from the Miami Marlins on Tuesday, according to a source. It's unclear what the return was for Miami. Maybin hasn't been great but should represent an upgrade in center field over Guillermo Heredia for Seattle. Maybin was hitting .251 with three home runs, 20 RBI and eight steals for the Marlins this year. He's mainly useful for his speed in deeper leagues, but he should have a little more upside with this move.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
