3 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Ryan Weber is the newest member of the team, as he was claimed off waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers. Weber has bounced around the league this year, starting with the Red Sox before being claimed by the Brewers, and now the Mariners. He's only thrown 6 2/3 innings this year in two appearances, and given up 11 earned runs. Weber was optioned to Triple-A, and third baseman Wyatt Mathisen was designated for assignment in a corresponding move to make space on the roster. He is not expected to make a fantasy impact this season, but stranger things have happened in a fluid Seattle bullpen.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
