Mariners Hope Ty France Will Return Friday
2 years agoSeattle Mariners manager Scott Servais decided to give first baseman Ty France (wrist) another day to recover on Wednesday against the New York Yankees, and along with the team's off day on Thursday, the team is hoping that France will be ready to return on Friday against the Los Angeles Angels in the series opener. The first-time All-Star has missed the last four games with a wrist injury, but he was able to play catch on Wednesday and is nearing his return. The 28-year-old has gone 9-for-29 (.310) with two home runs, three RBI and four runs scored in eight games since the All-Star break, and fantasy managers should be ready to reinsert him into their starting lineups for the weekend.
