Mariners Optimistic Julio Rodriguez Will Return Tuesday
2 years agoSeattle Mariners skipper Scott Servais said he's "very, very optimistic" that rookie outfielder Julio Rodriguez (wrist) will return to the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Texas Rangers. Rodriguez is out of the lineup for the fourth straight game with left wrist soreness, but he is going to ramp up his baseball activity before the game on Monday. The 21-year-old Dominican has burst onto the scene in 2022 and is already a must-start in fantasy, and it looks like fantasy managers will be able to get him back into their lineups on Tuesday. J-Rod has hit .275/.337/.477 with an .814 OPS, 16 home runs, 52 RBI, 53 runs scored and 21 stolen bases in 346 at-bats so far in his rookie season. Dylan Moore is starting in center field in his place and is batting eighth on Monday against Rangers right-hander Glenn Otto.
