3 years agoSan Jose Sharks defenseman Mario Ferraro (leg) will be sidelined for six to eight weeks after sustaining a fracture in his lower left fibula and having surgery on Sunday. The 23-year-old defenseman sustained the injury in Saturday's loss against the Bruins after a battle for the puck in the second period. Ferraro's return in the regular season remains a possibility due to the fact that the Sharks conclude their schedule on April 29 against the Kraken, which aligns with the timeline of recovery for the young defenseman.
