Mario Ferraro Out 6-8 Weeks

2 years agoSan Jose Sharks defenseman Mario Ferraro (leg) will be sidelined for six to eight weeks after sustaining a fracture in his lower left fibula and having surgery on Sunday. The 23-year-old defenseman sustained the injury in Saturday's loss against the Bruins after a battle for the puck in the second period. Ferraro's return in the regular season remains a possibility due to the fact that the Sharks conclude their schedule on April 29 against the Kraken, which aligns with the timeline of recovery for the young defenseman. Ferraro scored twice and added nine assists through 48 games on the Sharks back end, and he is only worth stashing in the deepest of dynasty formats moving forward.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
