3 years agoClemson cornerback Mario Goodrich (ribs) ran an official 4.52-second 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine on Sunday, but he sat out defensive back drills after his ribs tightened up following his run. Goodrich is still battling bruised and broken ribs that he suffered in the Senior Bowl. He will run again and do defensive back drills at 100% his school's Pro Day on March 17. The 22-year-old is very physical and long-armed and has the skillset to thrive at the next level. In four years at Clemson, Goodrich had 39 solo tackles, five interceptions (one for a touchdown), 15 passes defensed and one fumble recovery.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
