6 years agoOttawa Senators defenseman Mark Borowiecki was scoreless in Monday's 4-1 victory against the Dallas Stars, but he was good for a plus-one rating, two blocked shots, a minor penalty and five hits. He isn't a rearguard who will give you many points, but fantasy owners in pools with advanced scoring systems and those who play DFS know Borowiecki well. His bone-jarring hits are his calling card, and that's where his fantasy value comes. He is scoreless through six outings, but he has 22 hits. He dished out 226 hits in just 52 games last season to rank 10th in the NHL.--Daniel Dobish
