Mark Canha Fills In At Left Field
7 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Mark Canha takes the first stab at filling in for Khris Davis, who is out due to a Grade 1 groin strain. It will likely be a rotating replacement, but Canha had a good night Tuesday, going 2-for-3 with a double and a run. Canha is a fly-ball hitter (43.8 percent) but historically has hit with very little power. He has made a change to that thus far and has a 40 percent hard-hit rate. With a 6.7 walk rate and a .317 on-base percentage, he is not an option in OBP leagues. Canha isn’t worth owning right now, but continue to monitor him to see if he has made adjustments that he can maintain.
