2 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Mark Canha is on the bench on Wednesday. So far this season, Canha is batting .294 with a .370 on-base percentage and four home runs in 135 plate appearances. The outfielder is getting the day off as Jeff McNeil starts in left field instead. McNeil will hit fifth on Wednesday against the San Francisco Giants and right-hander Jakob Junis. In 170 plate appearances this season, McNeil is batting .323 with a .376 on-base percentage, two home runs, and two stolen bases.
