Mark Canha Reaches Base Four Times In Win Friday
3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Mark Canha reached base four more times on Friday to set the table for a nine-run outburst for the A's in Colorado. Canha went 2-for-3 and also walked twice while scoring two runs and driving in two. Superlatives are running thin for Canha who has a legitimate claim as the most valuable player to his team. The A's leadoff hitter has a .390 on-base percentage which ranks 12th in baseball and he's scored a league-leading 46 runs. It's not just the scoring that makes Canha valuable, however. He's got 11 homers and is sporting a strong .478 slugging percentage and a .222 ISO, both of which rank 13th among 44 hitters to have at least 50 at-bats in the leadoff spot. Leave Canha locked into fantasy lineups for two more games in Coors Field.
