3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Mark Canha is off to a hot start this season, despite his .244 batting average pointing to the contrary. Canha may not always get hits, but in typical A's fashion, he gets on base. Canha is sporting a strong 11.7 percent walk rate which has fueled his .367 on-base percentage. Meanwhile, he's posted a strong .354 wOBA when he does make contact. When he gets on base, Canha does damage as he's got six steals this season and ranks fifth in baseball with 33 runs scored. The 32-year-old will look to keep the A's offense rolling in the series finale versus Houston before a weekend series at the Angels.
