5 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Mark Canha has four walks in just 12 plate appearances this spring as the veteran outfielder attempts to back up his big 2019. Canha blasted 26 home runs to go along with 80 runs scored and 58 RBI. His .279 batting average was good, but where Canha really shines is formats that value walks as his OBP was .396 thanks to an elite 13.5 percent walk rate. When he does hit the ball, he makes solid contact as his 89.1 MPH average exit velocity was above league average and his .386 wOBA was in the top-eight percent of the league.
